Open the live map of EnschedeEnschede forms a single urban area with Hengelo and Almelo, and its transport is built around that. The busiest bus route in Twente shuttles at high frequency between the two central stations, while the RRReis city network covers Berkelstraat, Disselhoek, De Posten and the University of Twente campus. RRReis publishes live positions, so those buses appear on OVatlas as markers with their current delay.
The railway here runs east-west and stops dead at the German border. From Enschede Centraal the intercities leave for Deventer, Amersfoort, Utrecht and The Hague, alongside the sprinters calling at Hengelo, Almelo and Deventer.
