Open the live map of ZwolleZwolle is the rail junction of the north-east. Six directions meet here — Amersfoort, Lelystad, Leeuwarden, Groningen, Deventer and Kampen — and the station therefore handles far more passengers than the size of the town would suggest. NS runs the intercities and most of the sprinters, while Keolis and Arriva operate the regional services under the Blauwnet brand. Everything that runs shows up live on OVatlas.
The RRReis city network is small but busy. Line 9 to the Deltion campus is the most heavily loaded run in town around class times, line 1 connects the main station with Station Stadshagen on the north-west side, and the remaining routes serve Holtenbroek, Aa-landen and Zwolle-Zuid. Open a stop on the map and you get the next departure with whatever delay currently applies.
Outside the town the network heads up the Vecht valley to Dalfsen and Dedemsvaart, climbs the Veluwe towards Heerde and Apeldoorn, and follows the branch line to Kampen. Those regional routes run less frequently than the city network, and engineering work on the railway adds replacement buses on top. Such replacement runs do not always report a position; they show at the stop but not as a marker.

There is a short rail link, the Kamperlijntje, plus a bus service between the two stations. Which of the two leaves first depends on the moment; open the station on OVatlas to see them listed side by side.
RRReis operates the city network, with routes to Stadshagen, Holtenbroek, Aa-landen, Zwolle-Zuid and the Deltion campus. That last one is the busiest around class times. Tap a stop to see which city bus is due in first.
